What is the hardest part of the COMBO TOUR?

You will engage in three different tours in one day. The day starts with a pickup in Chiang Mai at 7:30 AM. You will return to Chiang Mai around 5:15 PM. Your transportation is private for your group. ZIPLINE: This activity is easy to moderate. River Rafting: This activity is easy to moderate. Elephant Tour: One area along the Elephant River Hike requires you to take some care. You will be on level ground. However, there is some area of the ground that will require some careful navigation. The area is approximately 15 meters long. The hike to the waterfall will require going down approximately 200 stairs. Going down is not difficult, but extra attention is required. When we finish at the waterfall, you must go back up the stairs. Depending on your physical condition, this is not difficult but can be exhausting.

Is there personal Instruction Offered

Our zipline experts will provide proper safety instructions before starting your journey.

What Type Of Footwear Should I wear?

We recommend footwear such as all-terrain flip-flops or sandals. Sneakers are fine, but they will likely get wet and dirty. You can manage in flip-flops; however, certain trail parts are better suited for an open sandal with straps. Crocs can also work. Certain parts of the river hike will require you to cross the river. The depth of the water is approximately 6" to 18", and there are large rocks on the river bed. These crossings are very small and only take 30 seconds to cross, but your feet will get wet.

Can Children 3 Yrs & Younger Do Zipline?

Children 3 years and younger are prohibited from Zipline.

Can I Book The Elephant Tour Without Zipline & River Rafting?

Yes. You may reserve the Elephant tour only. Please contact us on WhatsApp at 66 95 5602569 or by emailing info@elephantfreedom.org

Is round-trip transportation included?

Our COMBO Full-Day Tour includes free transportation from Chiang Mai City. We can provide round-trip transportation for a small surcharge for other tours. If you have also booked an elephant tour, transportation may be included. Please SMS us or send a WhatsApp to 66 95 560-2569. Our phone is answered daily from 8 AM to 10 PM

What is An Absiel?

Abseiling, also called rappelling, is a thrilling activity that involves safely descending a steep incline, such as a towering cliff, using a rope. Unlike other methods where someone lowers you down, you maintain complete control over your movement during abseiling as you descend the rope. This allows you to immerse yourself in the exhilaration of the experience while relying on your skills to navigate the descent.

How Many Ziplines Do You Have?

We have a total of 6 Ziplines spread through 19 Platforms.

What is An Air Bicycle?

I apologize for the confusion in my previous response. An air bicycle, or air bike, is an exercise bike that uses air resistance to provide a cardiovascular workout. It typically has a fan in the front wheel that creates resistance as you pedal. The air bike is designed to engage both the upper and lower body, as it features moving handlebars that you can push and pull while pedaling. This provides a full-body workout and helps to burn calories and build strength.

What is Air Skateboarding?

Air skateboarding, also known as hoverboarding or electric skateboarding, is a type of transportation device that combines skateboarding and hovercraft technology elements. It typically consists of a board with a set of wheels and an electric motor, allowing the rider to glide and maneuver on various surfaces without pushing or foot propulsion. The electric motor provides power and propels the board forward, while the wheels provide stability and control. Air skateboarding offers a unique and futuristic way of getting around, providing a fun and eco-friendly alternative to traditional skateboarding or other forms of transportation.

Can I Self Transport?

You can self-transport, however we discourage this. The Combo Tour offers free transport from Chiang Mai City. Our drivers will get you to each activity on time to ensure you do not miss anything. Navigating between locations may prove challenging for you.

Should I wear a hat & bring bug repellent, sun screen?

You will be in the open during your journey, so we recommend wearing a hat to protect you from the sun. Bug repellent depends on the person and the time of year you visit. Most of the journey is bug-free, but you may encounter some pesky friends during the jungle hike. A small amount of repellent for your feet, legs, and arms is recommended. Depending on the person, you may also wish to apply some sunscreen.

Is it possible to change the dates of my visit?

Yes. You may modify your booking dates free of charge if you notify us twenty-four hours before your tour date. You may cancel at any time free of charge. Please see our cancellation policy for more information. Cancellation Policy - Ziplining in Chiang Mai (chiangmaizipline.com)

Is lunch included? What type of food will I be served?

We provide a Thai-style lunch with drinks. Please contact us if you have special dietary needs. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, we also provide water, coffee, and snacks. Lunch is only included with the COMBO Tour Adventure or the half-day elephant tours. Lunch is suitable for vegetarians.

How many people need to be booked to operate the tour?

We need at least two people to be booked to operate each tour.

Should I bring a bathing suit?

We recommend bringing a bathing suit if you book our full-day COMBO Adventure or a half-day elephant afternoon tour. We will offer you Karen clothes (Thai outfits) for your day trip. Some guests will wear a bathing suit underneath to swim in the river or waterfall. The Karen clothes do dry quickly. We have a locker room for you to store your clothes.
